Necessary storage

When you answer the cookie banner, we save your choice in your browser’s local storage under the name sng-consent. It records whether you accepted analytics and the date you chose, so we do not ask again on every page. We treat the choice as valid for six months, after which the banner appears again. This is not shared with anyone and is not used to identify you. Without it, the banner could not remember your answer.

Analytics cookies, only if you accept

If you choose “Accept all”, we load Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies in your browser, typically named _ga and _ga_<id>, which Google describes as lasting up to two years. They tell us how the site is used, not who you are: IP addresses are shortened by Google, and we do not combine analytics data with your enquiry.

If you choose “Reject all”, Google Analytics is never loaded and these cookies are never set. We also use Google’s consent mode, so no analytics or advertising signals are sent before you agree.

What we do not use

• No advertising or re-targeting pixels.
• No social media tracking widgets. Links to our social profiles are ordinary links.
• No cross-site tracking, and no selling of data to anyone.

You can change your choice at any time using the button below, or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.
